Study programmes

The graduates have gained a large knowledge in the subject Theology, or more precisely in a branch specialization. They are familiar with current research trends. They are able to gain new knowledge, skills and competence through their own creative activities and they are able to set them in an interdisciplinary context as well as to asses the social impact of their employment. They are able to solve ethical problems arisen within creative activities or within employment of their results. They are able to present their own findings to international academic community members and also to the general public. They have mastered an active knowledge of a foreign language and based on their branch specialization also higher level of knowledge of classical languagues. They are able to plan activities of creative character and to gain funds for their realization. The graduates are prepared to work as members of academic and research staff at universities, research institutions and colleges; to work as teachers of Religious Education or educators in schools and educational institutions and social work institutions; to work on expert and management positions in Church institutions as well as in educational, health, social and humanitarian institutions and organizations; to work in the organs of public administration and public service institutions, publishing houses and editorial offices, firms and companies which require highly expert religious and humane knowledge and approaches.
