The organic chemistry course will allow graduates to gain wide range of theoretical and working information in the area of organic chemistry, molecular spectroscopy and organic synthesis. Diploma thesis projects are mainly focused on the following fields such as synthetic organic chemistry, physical-organic chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and also synthesis and application of isotopically labelled compounds. These topics are reflected in the list of offered courses that encompass a wide range of specialized subject with emphasis on the latest developments in such areas. The curriculum is shaped to cover all requirements necessary for successful carrier of the graduate either in academia or in industry.

A graduate of the organic chemistry master course has advanced knowledge of classical as well as modern methods of organic chemistry, namely in the areas of organic synthesis, bioactive compounds, and related disciplines. The graduate can handle advanced techniques of molecular spectroscopy to characterize organic compounds. In addition, the graduate is capable of assessing coming and new trends in the area organic chemistry along with their application in the realm of academia or industry. In the same manner, the graduate is qualified to be a group leader and is capable to put together research projects.
