The course provides a chronologically and thematically organized overview of the Czech history in the wider context of the European development, from the Early Modern Period to the 18th century. Being aware of possible language problems, the Department of History and the Teaching of Historiography offers only individual courses tutored by specialists, thus enabling a flexible communication and schedule, which can meet the students´ requirements. The students develop their own study plan according to their individual academic specialization and are expected to produce papers under the tutoring of the relevant specialists.
