a metodách výuky aplikované entomologie a zoologie. Přednáška poskytuje přehled následujících problémů: definování
škůdce a prospěšného organizmu, medicinální, zemědělský a ekonomický význam hmyzu, význam hmyzu pro
kriminalistiku, obecná teorie před škůdci, techniky a metody ochrany před škůdci, řízení rezistence škůdců. Kurz integruje
znalosti z obecné entomolgie, akarologie, parazitologie, hmyzí fyziologie a populační a behaviorání ekologie; předchozí
absolvování těchto kurzů však nutně nevyžaduje.

In the academic year 2021/2022 the course will not be taught!
Please note, the lectures are given in czech language only. The course is aimed at educating graduate and post-graduate
students in applied zoology and entomology. Review of problems related to applied entomology that includes pest and
beneficial definitions, medical and economical impact of pests, forensic entomology, pest richness, pest potential of various
orders, theory of pest management, techniques and methods for pest monitoring and forecasting resistance management.
Course integrates knowledge from general entomology and acarology, parasitology, insect physiology, population biology,
insect ecology and behavior.
