The course is focused on understanding the nature of personality and its structure in different developmental periods. The main goal is to acquire knowledge from individual areas of development and the ability to apply this knowledge in specific situations in the school environment and in the role of a teacher.
Aims: Students describe the differences in personalities, analyze the differences between selected theories of mental development.
1. Personality of teacher and pupil in pedagogical process.
2. Periodization of development: classical distinction of individual periods.
3. Theory of attachment and its significance for the school period.
4. Characteristics of developmental changes in individual stages of ontogenesis.
5. Identity and self-concept.
6. Different types of learning.
7. Differentiation of learning - how do students differ?
8. Differentiation of learning - intelligence and talent.
9. Motivation - how to update students' motivation?
