Lectures advise of minimal knowledges in ophthalmology, that are essential for passing the final examination. 1. Anatomy and physiology of the visual system. Optical requirements for optimal vision, refractive errors, accomodation, color vision. Central and peripheral vision. Lids, lacrimal system. 2. Cornea, sclera, cataract, glaucoma. 3. Uvea, vitreous, Disorders of optic disc. 4. General diseases and the eye. Orbit. 5. Ocular trauma. Retinal disorders.
