Pro gramatickou část bude používána učebnice J. Kepartová - R. Skopek, Praktická iLatina (https://publi.cz/books/494/index.html?secured=false#Cover). Ve cvičeních zaměřených na jazyk jsou studenti vyzýváni k zamyšlení nad internacionalismy vzniklými z latinského základu a čtou upravené texty s historickým pozadím. Seznámí se také s obraty církevní latiny.
Ve cvičeních zaměřených na klasické tradice jsou probírána také témata z reálií, z antické mytologie atd., která ovlivnila evropské výtvarné umění, písemnictví a další oblasti evropské kultury. Prerekvizitou pro Klasické tradice I je zkouška z dějin antického starověku, poněvadž cvičení kurzu klasických tradic jsou zaměřena nikoli na základní pojmy a témata, nýbrž na prohloubení látky.

This subject is taught in Czech.
During the course on Classical Traditions, also topics from ancient life, institutions and mythology that influenced European fine arts, literature and other areas of European culture, are looked at. For the grammar part, textbook by J. Kalivoda, Verba docent, exempla trahunt. Praha: Karolinum 2011, and J. Kepartová - R. Skopek, Praktická iLatina (https://publi.cz/books/494/index.html?secured=false#Cover) will be used. In the exercises focusing on language, students are encouraged to look at internationalisms coming from Latin roots, and read texts with historic backgrounds. They will also get to know some expressions from ecclesiastical Latin.
A prerequisite for Classical Traditions I is passing the exam in History of Antiquity, as the exercises on the Classical Traditions course do not concentrate on basic terms and themes but on deeper knowledge.

Cíl předmětu -
Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty bakalářského studia dějepisu s úlohou latiny a antické kultury v evropské kultuře a získat schopnosti porozumět upravenému latinskému textu. Proto je závěrečný test věnován nikoli překladu, ale odpovědím na otázky zaměřené na obsah textu.

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students of bachelor study of history with the role of Latin and ancient culture in European culture and to acquire the ability to understand the modified Latin text. Therefore, the final test is devoted not to translation, but to answers to questions focused on the content of the text.

Nejméně týden před písemným testem na moodlu vložit do "Slovníku - humanitní obory" 2 internacionalismy s rozborem nebo 2 živá slova s rozborem;
Nejméně týden před písemným testem na moodlu vložit odbornou stať na jedno z 12 témat (témata uvedena na moodlu);
Úspěšně absolvovat písemný test na porozumění latinskému textu.
80% docházka.

The written test can be repeated twice. There will be three terms for the written test.
