This course is a continuation of Writing I. In-class work and assignments are based on the methods of development studied
in Writing I (e.g., comparison and contrast, cause and effect, classification and division, definition, examples, description,
etc.) but are expected to be at a more sophisticated level. There is an emphasis on overall article/essay structure and
argumentation (persuasion) although the final project is a longer narrative paper.
