Students acquire athletic skills in all throwing events. They acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of
areas of technology, training and didactics of throwing disciplines and specific power training for throwers.
Students are acquainted with general and specific tests used in throwing disciplines, furthermore with planning
and organizations in throwing training.

The student is competent to demonstrate the basic throwing disciplines: shot put, discus throw, hammer throw and javelin throw. The student is able to analyze basic deficiencies in execution technique in throwing disciplines. The student is able to propose a procedure for improving technical elements as part of the correction. The student applies the acquired knowledge as part of sports practice in the athletic department, including the organization and decision-making of throwing disciplines.
