This aim of the course is to deepen the theoretical knowledge of the comparative education as a field of study and develop practical skills related to the evaluation, design and conduct of comparative studies. At the end of the course, students should be able to:

The assessment is based on (a) active participation in the course, discussions based on reading assignments and continuous coursework (b) presentation and defense of a course final paper. Students are required to attend at least 80 % of the compulsory course sessions. More details about the final paper will be presented during the first teaching session.
