Kurz seznamuje studenty se základními morfologickými kategoriemi současné angličtiny na pozadí gramatického systému češtiny. Zaměřuje se na vymezení a popis slovních druhů, zejména substantiv a sloves.

The Morphology course introduces the students to the basic morphological categories of present-day English against the background of the grammatical system of Czech. It focuses on formal and functional delimitation and description of word classes (especially nouns and verbs).

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Podmínkou úspěšného zakončení předmětu je alespoň 70% úspěšnost u písemné zkoušky. V případě neúspěchu lze test dvakrát opakovat (celkem má tedy student na složení zkoušky tři pokusy). Součástí hodnocení je i jazyková a formulační úroveň.

At the end of the course, the students take written examination. To succeed, at least 70% score is required. If the student fails the test, he or she can re-sit the examination twice. The assessment comprises the student's proficiency and stylistically adequate use of English.
