Tento volitelný kurs se realizuje v osmém semestru a zabývá se jak jazykem, tak otázkami kulturních studií. Autentické texty a nahrávky získané z médií anglicky mluvících zemí a vybrané z odborných publikací o britských reáliích se rozebírají z hlediska jazyka i obsahu. Tematicky jsou materiály zaměřeny na současnou britskou společnost.

This optional eighth-semester Language and Culture course provides students with a large number of authentic texts and audio recordings selected from the media of English-speaking countries and from publications specialized on British and Cultural Studies. The materials are analyzed from the point of view of language and content. The topics covered deal with contemporary British society.
