Course content: Students will work in groups on selected data science specific problems, like for example
extracting communities from social networks, clustering web pages, analyzing trends in social media or identifying
mobility patterns.
Students will be given a small research projects in the form of an analysis goal, a data set and a target metric. The
research project will be conducted in four phases, supervised by the lecture. In every phase, one team member
takes the responsibility.
