Úvodní kurs problematiky prostorových vztahů se zřetelem na sociální a demografické jevy. V rámci kursu budou vysvětleny principy geografických informačních systémů, problematika modelování geografických objektů, reprezentace prostorových objektů a ukládání dat. V praktické části budou využívány produkty řady ArcGIS. Součástí řešení bude tvorba tématických map, prostorová analýza, editace dat a jejich propojování, správa dat a jejich vizualizace.

An introduction into spatial relationships in the context of social and demograhpic events. The principles of geographical information systems, modelling of geographical objects their reprezentation and spatial data storing will be explained. ArcGIS products will be used for creating of thematic maps, spatial analysis, data editing and linking and visualization.
