Students are expected to actively participate in the program and develop their writing, analytical, presentation, and critical thinking skills. These skills are exercised through diverse tasks and activities, such as obligatory reading of scientific texts and primary documents, oral testimonies, and fieldwork. Students are required to send summaries (5-6 sentences) of the obligatory reading (prerequisite) Based on their fieldwork experience, students divided into groups will create a story map. The story maps should not only relate to specific case studies but also remembrance cultures and questions of collective guilt or victimhood in Czech and German contexts in a broader sense.
