Anotace

The course is intended for students to defend their bachelor thesis project at the end of the second year of their study. It includes homework and individual consultations with potential supervisors.
Please note that this course is for Social Science programme students only.

Course Objectives
1. Learning the practice of writing the research project: defining the topic and the research design for the bachelor thesis.
2. Capability to discuss the research project.
3. To check that the bachelor projects of students are realisable in the last year of the study.

Week 2 (28.2.) - Discussion of potential topics.

Week 3 (6.3.) - Discussion of thesis topics

Week 4 (13.3.) - Discussion of thesis topics

Week 5 (20.3.) - Discussion of methodology

Week 6 (27.3.) - Discussion of methodology

Week 7 (3.4.) - Putting the topic and methods together

Week 8 (10.4.) - Search for the literature

Week 9 (17.4.) - Discussion of supervisors

Week 10 (24.4.) - Presentation of the first draft

Week 11 and 12 No classes

Week 13 (15.5.) - Presentation of students' projects in class
