V rámci přednášek a seminářů předmětu se studenti seznámí se základními principy a možnostmi genové terapie, s metodami využívanými v rámci genové terapie a styčnými body genové terapie a farmacie. Při praktických cvičeních si vyzkouší základní laboratorní metodiky, využívané v oblasti genové diagnostiky, terapie a při vývoji či výrobě prostředků genové terapie.

During the lectures and tutorials of the subject students learn the basic principles and scope of gene therapy, the methods employed in gene therapy and interferences between gene therapy and pharmacy. In the practical classes they experience the basic laboratory protocols of gene diagnostics, gene therapy and protocols used at development or manufacture of gene therapy tools.
