Výuka jazyků v rámci odborné jazykové přípravy je nepovinná. Studenti musí však složit zkoušku z jednoho světového jazyka (angličtina/němčina/francouzština) do konce 2.ročníku. Program odborné jazykové přípravy je plánován na 4 semestry (1. a 2.ročník magisterského studia programu Farmacie) a pokrývá svým rozsahem požadavky ke zkoušce. Posluchači si mohou zapsat kurzy odborného jazyka pouze pro celý ročník, tj. oba semestry 1. ročníku nebo / a oba semestry 2.ročníku. Účast na seminářích a složení zápočtu jsou pak pro ně povinné a směřují k úspěšnému vykonání zkoušky.
V rámci seminářů se studenti seznamují s odbornou slovní zásobou a stylem odborného textu. Výuka odborného jazyka je propojena s obecnými tématy a doplněna konverzací se zaměřením na upevňování a rozvíjení všech jazykových dovedností.
Cílem výuky je prohloubení znalostí jazyka na úrovni středně pokročilý až pokročilý (úroveň B2-C1 podle EJP) a zvládnutí odborné slovní zásoby a gramatických struktur do té míry, aby byl student schopen dorozumět se na běžné i odborné úrovni, hovořit o své specializaci, číst v originále odbornou literaturu a písemně se vyjadřovat k problematice svého oboru.

Language lessons within the framework of professional language training is optional. However, students must pass an exam in one world language by the end of the 2nd year. The professional language training program is planned for 4 semesters (1st and 2nd year of the Master's degree) and its scope covers the requirements for the exam. Students can enroll in professional language courses only for the entire year, i.e. both semesters of the 1st year or/and both semesters of the 2nd year. Participation in seminars and passing the credit are then mandatory for them and are aimed at successfully passing the exam. In the seminars, students become familiar with professional vocabulary and the style of professional text. Professional language instruction is linked to general topics and supplemented with conversation with a focus on consolidating and developing all language skills. The aim of the course is to deepen language knowledge at an intermediate to advanced level (level B2-C1 according to the EJP) and to master specialist vocabulary and grammatical structures to the extent that the student is able to understand each other at both a general and specialist level, talk about their specialisation, read specialist literature in the original and express themselves in writing on the issues of their field.

Podmínkou složení zápočtu z předmětu Odborná jazyková příprava I a II – anglický jazyk/něměcký jazyk/francouzský jazyk pro studijní program Farmacie je aktivní (75%) účast na seminářích; vypracování referátu/prezentace/příprava diskuze, pokud jsou zadány; a úspěšné (70%) zvládnutí písemného zápočtového testu (překlad slovní zásoby a odborných vět, doplňování slov do textu, definice odborných pojmů, gramatika, výběr z více odpovědí aj.) na závěr každého semestru.

Exam requirements
The English/German/French exam can be taken during the first two years (if the student does not attend seminars), or by the end of the 3rd year (if the student attends seminars that cover the exam requirements).
The exam consists of two parts: a) a written test focused on professional pharmaceutical, medical and healthcare terminology, vocabulary, understanding of professional texts and translation from Czech into English; b) an oral exam focused on oral expression, mastery of grammar and vocabulary, reading and translation of the text. During the oral part of the exam, the student is given one of the 30 questions listed below in the syllabus, the knowledge of the vocabulary on the given topic is checked and additional questions are asked, if necessary. Both the written and oral parts of the exam are based on textbooks and materials from the compulsory literature.

Oral exam score: 100 points
To pass the exam, you need to score 70% of the total points.

Metody výuky

Výuka Odborné jazykové přípravy ve studijním programu Farmacie je formálně rozdělena do čtyř semestrů 1. a 2. úseku studia a probíhá v každém semestru 1x týdně po dobu 2 vyučovacích hodin tj. 90minut, celkem za všechny 4 semestry je tento předmět vyučován 112 vyučovacích hodin.
Výuka probíhá v daném cizím jazyce, což pomáhá studentům rychleji reagovat a lépe se adaptovat na odbornou komunici. V seminářích se procvičují veškeré jazykové dovednosti (poslech, porozumění textu, analýza textu a odborných vídeí, procvičování slovní zásoby a frází, odborná terminologie, slovní spojení a kolokace, procvičování gramatických jevů, mluvený a psaný projev, správná výslovnost odborných pojmů, rolové hry např. rozhovor lékárník/doktor - pacient, výukové hry a kvízy, diskuze na odborná témata, tvorba prezentací) všemi dostupnými moderními metodami. Velký důraz je kladen na samostatný projev studentů.

Požadavky ke zkoušce
Požadavky ke zkoušce
Zkouška z anglického/německého/francouzského jazyka je povinná. Navazuje na předmět Odborná jazyková příprava I a II v 1. a 2.ročníku a lze ji vykonat na konci 2. ročníku, nejpozději však do konce 3. ročníku. Nepovinné semináře OJP I a II svým rozsahem pokrývají všechny požadavky ke zkoušce.
Zkouška se skládá ze dvou částí: a) písemného testu zaměřeného na odbornou farmaceutickou, lékařskou a zdravotnickou terminologii, slovní zásobu, porozumění odbornému textu a překlad z českého jazyka do anglického jazyka; b) ústní zkoušky zaměřené na slovní projev, zvládnutí gramatiky a slovní zásoby, čtení a překlad textu. Studentovi je během ústní části zkoušky zadána jedna z níže v sylabu uvedených 30 otázek, prověřuje se znalost slovní zásoby k danému tématu a případně jsou položeny doplňující otázky. Písemná i ústní část zkoušky vycházejí z učebních textů a materiálů povinné literatury.
Hodnocení písemného testu: 100 bodů
Hodnocení ústní části zkoušky: 100 bodů
Pro úspěšné složení zkoušky je třeba získat 70 % z celkového počtu bodů.

Výsledky učení
Student si během seminářů prohloubí znalosti anglického nebo německého případně francouzského jazyka na úrovni středně pokročilý až pokročilý (úroveň B2 –C1 podle EJP).
Výsledky učení
Po úspěšném absolvování kurzu budou studenti schopni:
Ovládat rozsáhlou odbornou slovní zásobu a terminologii, včetně všech gramatických struktur.
Efektivně komunikovat v běžných i odborných situacích.
Plynule hovořit o své specializaci a prezentovat klíčové aspekty svého oboru.
Číst odbornou literaturu v originále a písemně se vyjadřovat k tématům souvisejícím s jejich profesním zaměřením.
Komunikovat o obecných tématech, přičemž budou systematicky rozvíjet všechny jazykové dovednosti (poslech, čtení, mluvení, psaní) a správnou výslovnost odborné terminologie.
Diskutovat a argumentovat v cizím jazyce o odborných farmaceutických a lékařských tématech.
Vysvětlit, definovat a popsat odborné pojmy, přičemž budou schopni je jasně a přesně interpretovat.
Správně používat odborné výrazy, terminologii a fráze týkající se široké škály farmaceutických a lékařských témat v souladu se sylaby jazyků 1. a 2. ročníku.
