The subject takes place in the form of interactive online seminars. Seminar recordings are available, absence for serious reasons can be compensated by watching the recording. However, a minimum of 70% online attendance is required. Completion of the online test is a condition for credit

Sylabus -
Chirurgické kazuistiky je volitelný předmět, který je určený pro studenty inklinující k chirurgickým oborům. Jednotlivé on-line přednášky se budou zabývat klíčovými tématy chirurgie, tato témata budou vysvětlena a prezentována na kazuistických příkladech. K prezentaci kazuistik budou využita audiovizuální data z klinických vyšetření nemocných, diagnostických a zobrazovacích metod, ale zejména z vlastních chirurgických výkonů. Kurz je určený zejména pro studenty čtvrtých a vyšších ročníků, není však vyloučena ani účast studentů nižších ročníků. Kurz bude veden „živě“ v on-line formě, bude interaktivní a bude vyžadována aktivní účast studentů. Každá kazuistika bude aktivně diskutována, budou prezentovány alternativní možnosti řešení. Studenti budou aktivně navrhovat jednotlivé diagnostické možnosti i formy chirurgického řešení. Kurz bude zakončen testem.

Surgical Case Reports is an optional subject which is intended for students inclined towards surgical fields. Individual online lectures will deal with key topics of surgery, these topics will be explained and presented using case examples. Audiovisual data from clinical examinations of patients, diagnostic and imaging methods, but especially from own surgical procedures will be used for the presentation of case reports. The course is intended mainly for students in fourth and higher years, but the participation of students in lower years is not excluded. The course will be conducted "live" in online form, it will be interactive and active participation of students will be required. Each case report will be actively discussed, alternative solutions will be presented. Students will actively propose individual diagnostic options and forms of surgical solutions. The course will end with a test.

We therefore ask for maximum active participation. Discussion of cases is a main part of the course and cannot be replaced by simply watching the recordings. However, if you cannot attend online for a serious reason, you can watch the seminar from the recording.
