The subject pathology as a part of the preclinical curriculum of stomatology aims to acquaint students with the morphology, principles and clinical-pathological correlations of human illness. On the theoretical level, this is carried out in the form of lectures, which, during the spring semester of pathology studies, cover general pathology and, at the conclusion of the semester, certain areas of special pathology. During the autumn semester there are other areas of special pathology, namely diseases of the orofacial area, and always with an emphasis on the pathology of tumours. The practical pathology training is carried out as a follow-up to the presented topics in microscope-equipped classrooms, the dissection room and in the Museum of Educational Macro-preparation.

Winter semester credit:  physical presence at the practicals + practical exam on "gross pathology" performed in the museum at the end of the semester (you cannot sign for the oral exam without the credit).

Exam (only winter semester):

Oral exam – questions of general pathology, special pathology, oncology and orofacial pathology.
