Předměty

Předmět umožňuje studentům získávat komplexní vhled do metodiky výzkumu a do aktuálních teoretických otázek v řečových vědách. Na pozadí svého vlastního řešení metodologických otázek disertačního projektu se student seznamuje se stávajícími možnostmi metod používaných v dalších odvětvích fonetického výzkumu. Studenti se učí na metody zkoumání nahlížet v širších souvislostech a kriticky hodnotit jejich možnosti i omezení.
Náplň semináře je postavena především na diskusi o teoreticko-metodologických otázkách vyplývajících z disertačních projektů jednotlivých doktorandů, dále však také na četbě relevantních pramenů.
Tematické okruhy zkoušky se odvíjejí od povahy a tematiky disertačního projektu.

The course allows students to gain a comprehensive insight into research methodology and current theoretical issues in speech sciences. Against the backdrop of their own approach to the methodological issues of their dissertation project, students are introduced to the current possibilities of methods used in other branches of phonetic research. Students learn to view research methods in a broader context and to critically evaluate their possibilities and limitations.
The content of the seminar is based primarily on discussions of theoretical and methodological issues arising from the dissertation projects of individual PhD students, but also of reading relevant sources.
The thematic areas of the examination depend on the nature and topic of the dissertation project.

Pro splnění atestace je nutná aktivní účast minimálně v rozsahu 75 %. Aktivní účast předpokládá řádnou a informovanou diskusi o metodologických aspektech aktuálně řešených disertačních projektů, případně souvisejících studií.

Active participation of at least 75% is required for a pass. Active participation implies a proper and informed discussion of methodological aspects of current dissertation projects or related studies.
