Předmět je standardně plánován na třetí rok studia. Slouží pro vykazování práce studentů na disertaci a pro prezentaci odborných aktivit doktorandů, zároveň zajišťuje pravidelný kontakt doktorandů mezi sebou i se školiteli. Studenti na semináři prezentují výsledky své práce na disertaci, případně na publikačních výstupech a v následné diskusi s ostatními doktorandy tříbí své argumentační schopnosti. Doktorand prezentuje při každém setkání, rozsah prezentace závisí na dohodě se školitelem.
Některé prezentace souvisejí se studijními povinnostmi jako Představení koncepce disertace, další mohou fungovat jako příprava k prezentaci na odborné konferenci. Studenti dále poskytují kritickou zpětnou vazbu a aktivně se účastní diskusí.

The course is normally scheduled for the third year of study. It serves for reporting of students' progress on the dissertation and for presenting their scientific activities, and it also ensures regular contact between doctoral students and their supervisors. In the seminar, students present the results of their work on the dissertation or on their publications and in the subsequent discussion with other PhD students they hone their argumentation skills. Student present at every meeting; the extent of the presentation depends on agreement with the supervisor.
Some of the presentations are related to the study obligations like Dissertation Concept Presentation, others may function as preparation for a presentation at an academic conference. Students also provide critical feedback and actively participate in discussions.
