Anotace

How does one conduct [good] fieldwork in the Chinese diaspora? What are the major pitfalls that researchers often fall into? Is Czechia somehow unique in its Chinese diaspora? What (if anything) is the popular Czech perception of Chinese religion and culture? This seminar series we will discuss, using the lens of empirical research, the Czech reception of Chinese religion and culture.
