Řada autorů ve svých studiích argumentuje, že jsme svědky "sexualizace" či "pornofikace" médií a společnosti [Attwood, 2002; Attwood, 2006; Cook, 2006; Cronin a Davenport, 2001; Levy, 2005; Langman, 2008; McNair, 1996; McNair 2002; O’Toole, 1998; Paasonen et al, 2007; Poynor, 2006; van Doorn, 2010]. Sex se stal tématem veřejné diskuse v různých médiích, populární kultura přejímá modely stylizace, které byly dříve konvenční pouze pro pornografické reprezentace (často ve snaze o senzaci, šokování, osobní reklamu), a s pornoaktéry je od dob Jenny Jameson zacházeno jako s popovými ikonami. Dalo by se říci, že pornografie byla během posledních 15 let naplno zapojena do procesu "mainstreamizace". Díky tomu neustále narůstá důležitost tématu sexu a sexuality ve veřejném diskurzu. Snahou tohoto předmětu je tak kritická reflexe skutečností, kterými pornografie ovlivnila (ovlivňuje) soudobou společnost. Zároveň se pokusíme v diskuzích odkrýt související obrazy novomediální teorie.

Many authors in their studies argues that we are witnessing the "sexualization" or "pornofication" of media and society [Attwood, 2002; Attwood, 2006; Cook, 2006; Cronin and Davenport, 2001; Levy, 2005; Langman, 2008; McNair, 1996; McNair 2002; O'Toole, 1998; Paasonen et al, 2007; Poynor, 2006; van Doorn, 2010]. Sex has become a topic of public discussion in various media, popular culture takes styling models which were previously conventional only for pornographic representation (often in pursuit of sensation, shock, personal advertisement), and pornstars like Jenna Jameson are treated as pop icons. We can say that pornography was during last 15 years heavily involved in the process of "mainstreamization". It also raised an importance of discussing topics like sex and sexuality in public discourse. The aim of this course is the critical reflection of pornography related effects on modern society. At the same time we will try to uncover related new media theories in these processes.

Podmínkou pro udělení zápočtu je aktivní účast na hodinách (povolena 1 - 2 absence), připravenost do diskuzí a na prezentace na základě zadané četby či úkolů a závěrečná práce.

Důležité, jelikož ne každé porno je zadarmo, čtěte prosím pokyny k zápisu!
Samotný zápis je otevřen všempředběžným uchazečům, tedy i těm kteří skončí dle systému na čekací listině. Ze všech předběžně přihlášených budou na základě odevzdání Studijního záměru/Motivace ke studiu předmětu vybráni studenti, kterým bude zápis předmětu ve finální podobě potvrzen v systému. Studijní záměry kromě přehledu o vaší motivaci slouží také k sestavení výukové skladby, tak abychom v diskuzích řešili pro vás nejzajímavější témata.

Studijní záměr/Motivace ke studiu předmětu
Uchazeč by měl v rámci své práce zodpovědět zejména následující otázky: Proč si daný předmět vybral? Co od daného předmětu očekává? Kterým tématům (fenoménům, problémům) by se chtěl v diskuzi věnovat?
Forma zpracování Studijního záměru/Motivace ke studiu předmětu není předepsána a tak je zcela na Vás, zda využijete psaného textu, mluveného slova, prezentace, videa, jiných multimédií či dalších prostředků.
Finální seznam zapsaných studentů bude dostupný v SISu do 6.10.2020 do 12.00 a studenti budou o tomto vyrozumněni prostřednictvím e-mailových adres, které mají zadané v SISu. První hodina výuky proběhne 7.10.2020.
