Kurz je koncipován jako metodologické a aplikované pokračování předmětu „Anglická historická lingvistika B“. Jeho jádrem bude 1) četba a prezentace metodologicky relevantních sociolingvistických studií a diskuse k nim, a 2) tvorba vlastních studentských projektů na základě těchto studií a jejich rozborů.

The course is designed as a methodological and hands-on expansion on the “English Historical Linguistics B” course. Its nuclear parts comprise 1) readings and presentations of methodologically relevant sociolinguistic papers (with ensuing discussions), and 2) based on these, studentsʼ own seminar projects.

Podmínky zakončení předmětu -
Zápočet bude udělován za pravidelnou docházku (max. 3 absence), aktivní práci v semináři, jednu seminární prezentaci a jeden vypracovaný seminární projekt.
