      Entrance examination: one-round (written)

Entrance examination description (Assessment of applicant’s portfolio, applicant is not present)

      a)   Evaluation of academic preparedness: 0–40 points

      b)   Evaluation of study motivation: 0–30 points

      c)   Evaluation of study prerequisites through a structured CV and relevant professional activities: 0–30 points

Ad a) An officially issued or certified transcript/statement of academic results from the final report card of the penultimate year of secondary school (i.e. in the case of a four-year secondary school, the report card from the end of the third year; in the case of an eight-year secondary school, the report card from the end of the seventh year, etc.) in English or in the original language with an English translation, submitted by the applicants into the information system within the date specified by the Entrance Examinations Schedule at CU FA.

The number of points is derived from the grade point average (GPA) of all subjects on this report card rounded to one decimal (based on the Czech five-point scale, where the best possible result is graded 1 and the worst possible result is graded 5; in the case of different grading systems, the results will be adapted to the Czech five-point grading scale by dividing the non-five-point scale evenly into five parts).

The total number of points based on the applicant’s GPA is rounded to the nearest integer according to the equation “Total number of points = −19 * GPA + 59”.
