      Application submission date: 30.06.2025
      Note on date: Applications must be submitted online and payments must be made by 11:59:59 p.m. on 30th June 2024. Once the application has been filled in online, the Information System will generate a six-digit code for each applicant, which must be used as the specific symbol during the payment of the administrative fee. Please note that once the application has been completed, it must be submitted (by clicking on the Send button) in order to become valid. Applications submitted online should not be printed out and sent by post. The applicant failing to duly complete the application form or to document the payment of the application fee will be notified by the Faculty and asked to rectify the shortcomings within an adequate time. In the case of failure to rectify the shortcomings within this time, the application process will be terminated. The administrative fee will not be refunded.

      The aim of the Master Study Programme, branch the Management of Physical Education and Sport is to prepare students for their career in leading pozitions of sport institutions.
      The study arrangement follows the Bachelor Study Programme Management of Sport and Economics. The Programme also matches with international study programmes within the European Union. The aim of the Programme is to educate well-qualified students in the area of sport management so they would become skilled leaders. Using the management and marketing skills in Kinanthropology makes this Programme unique and different from other studies of management. Variable international cooperations (for example a grant of Ministry of Education Youth and Sports within the Czech – Bavarian cooperation 8E15B013) prove that the Programme matches with sport management programmes in the world.
      It is an academic Programme with the elements of professional aspects.

      The applicant is required to attach to an Application form a/letter of motivation, b/proof of qualifications (e.g. a legalised copy of documents certifying completion of secondary education in the case of a bachelor program or a legalised copy of a Bachelor's diploma in the case of a follow-up Master's degree program), Transcript of records c/ curriculum vitae, d/  letter of recommendation for study, d/ internationally recognised certificate proving the applicant's English language skills, level B2. All the documents have to be officially translated into Czech or English language.

      The condition of admission is the completion of the subjects "Economics, Marketing, and Management".

      Suppose the application is not properly filled out. In that case, all required documents are not attached, or if the application fee was not covered, the Faculty will send out a Notice to eliminate shortcomings of the application or a Notice to pay an admission procedure fee within a time frame. The application process will be terminated if the deficiencies are not eliminated within the set period. The administrative fee will not be refunded.

      Interview entrance exam - possibility of an online interview (Microsoft Teams)

      1. Motivation letter – 0-5 points

      2. Ability to answer questions in English 0-5 points

      3. Discuss the topic of the bachelor's thesis and discuss the candidate's ideas about the focus of the diploma thesis. During the interview, basic knowledge of work methodology and critical evaluation of positives and shortcomings in work design or methodological procedure is verified - 0-10 points

      4. Verification of basic knowledge in the field of sports management (microeconomics, macroeconomics, management and others) about the intended topic of the diploma thesis - 0-10 points

      The total point gain is calculated as the average sum of points obtained from individual commission members and rounded to one decimal place.

      If the applicant obtains an average of less than one point in any part of the oral entrance examination, he has failed the entrance examination and cannot be admitted.

      In total, it is possible to get 0-30 points.

      Admission to Master's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate. Admission to Post-Bachelor studies (Master's programme) is likewise conditioned by completed education in any type of study programme.

      Absolvent navazujícího magisterského studia se uplatňuje jako
      - pracovník profesionálního aparátu neziskových organizací ve sportu – sportovních svazů a sportovních klubů, samostatných sportovních asociací,
      - řídící pracovník v profesionálních sportovních klubech,
      - pracovník marketingových a personálních úseků obchodních společností ve sportu nabízejících sportovní služby a sportovní zboží.
