The study programme History Oriented at Education is a Bachelorʼs degree that provides vocational competence in history and history didactics. The newly introduced courses Didactics of History and Teaching Practice enable the graduates of the Bachelor’s degree programme to work as assistant teachers at elementary and secondary schools, educators at memory institutions or instructors in leisure-time activities and summer camps for children and young adults. Together with the follow-up Masterʼs programme Training History Teachers for Lower and Higher Secondary Schools, for which it serves as preparatory, it represents a full-scale university study curriculum for future history teachers. The Bachelor´s degree study programme meets all qualification requirements for educators at museums, galleries and memory institutions. If the graduate is interested in improving his qualification, he can continue in the follow-up Master program Education and Interpretation in the Field of Cultural Heritage.The study program is designed so that its graduate has deep and up-to-date knowledge in biology, geology, environmental studies, pedagogy and psychology, he/she is familiar with working with biological and geological materials, he/she knows how to organize scientific excursions, meetings and expeditions and how to work with basic laboratory instruments and devices and ICT, and he/she has basic orientation in scientific and popular-science literature and e-sources.

In a three-year bachelor's degree programme Czech language with a focus on education we educate bohemists with knowledge of contemporary Czech, its system and use in communication, and with the necessary knowledge of its historical development. The study subjects are chosen and conceived in such a way that the graduate becomes an expert in the field of the Czech language, taking into account the fact that the priority of the bachelor's graduate is the follow-up master's program Teacher training for the second grade of primary school and for secondary school - Czech language. Specific linguistic subjects studied are (for example): Seminar of Czech language associated with introduction into the study and the basics of linguistics, followed by study subjects: Phonetics and phonology of the Czech language, Morphology of the Czech language and variational sociolinguistics, Lexiology and semantics of the Czech language, Syntax of the Czech language and textual linguistics, Development of the Czech language and Stylistics of the Czech language and the theory of language culture. Didactically focused compulsory subjects are Ontogenetic development of speech and basics of didactics of language and Field practice. These compulsory items are complemented by practically oriented optional courses. At the same time, the emphasis is placed on the development of the student's communication competence. The literary part of the study primarily focuses on the education of the future teacher, as well as the insightful interpreter of literature. Particular emphasis is placed on a creative approach to the interpretation of literary texts and the cultivation of the ability to communicate about literature with wide general public. The basic subject, on which all other teaching is based, is the theory of literature. The history of literature emphasizes the literature of the 20th and 21st century. The program also includes a seminar of world literature. The study plan also includes a seminar on didactics of literature focused on the development of reading. Graduates can work in various professions, eg. as a publishing editor, editor, media worker, in the field of education as a tutor or as an assistant teacher.

Přijímací zkouška má dvě části:

1. Zkouška z 1. studijního programu, plán maior, max. 40 b.

2. Zkouška z 2. studijního programu, plán minor, max. 40 b.

Celkem max. 80 b.

Dějepis se zaměřením na vzdělávání

Písemná zkouška - test z dějepisu v rozsahu gymnaziálního učiva. V testu se ověřují schopnosti chronologického, logického a historického myšlení a dobrá orientace v českých a světových dějinách, zároveň se předpokládá rozhled po kulturně-společenském dění.

Délka trvání testu je 60 min.

Český jazyk se zaměřením na vzdělávání

Přijímací zkouška je písemná a má dvě rovnocenné části, které se konají společně. Uchazeč získává max. 40 bodů; délka trvání písemného testu (obou částí dohromady) je 30 minut.

1. Test z českého jazyka, sestávající z oblasti normativní, z oblasti ověřující porozumění textu a schopnost práce s ním a z oblasti obecných poznatků o jazyce a jazykovědě. (10 otázek, max. 20 bodů).

2. Test z dějin české literatury a literární teorie (10 otázek, max. 20 bodů).

Ad 1) Budou prověřovány:
(i) bezpečné ovládání pravidel českého pravopisu a morfologické a syntaktické normy spisovné češtiny;
(ii) znalost učiva českého jazyka v rozsahu učebnic pro střední školy (podle publikací uvedených v kapitole Doporučená literatura);
(iii) schopnost jazykové analýzy a práce s textem, které mají ukázat uchazečovu orientaci v jazykovém systému češtiny a schopnost řešit jazykové problémy vyskytující se v textu.
Uchazeč v této části může získat maximálně 20 bodů.

Ad 2) Písemný test slouží k prověření znalostí uchazečů z dějin literatury od nejstarších dob po současnost, znalosti základních pojmů z literární teorie a celkový kulturní přehled z hlediska současnosti i historie.

Admission to Bachelor's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate.

As a stand-alone study programme, it is designed for future assistant teachers at elementary and secondary schools and educators at memory institutions. The courses Didactics of History and Teaching Practice enable the graduates to work at education departments and as instructors in leisure-time activities for children and young adults including summer camps. Together with the follow-up Masterʼs programme Training History Teachers for Lower and Higher Secondary Schools, for which it serves as preparatory, it represents a full-scale university study curriculum for future history teachers. If the graduate is interested in improving his qualification, he can continue in the follow-up Master program Education and Interpretation in the Field of Cultural Heritage.A graduate has deep and up-to-date knowledge in biology, geology and environmental studies, he/she is familiar with working with biological and geological materials, he/she knows how to organize scientific excursions and expeditions and how to work with basic laboratory instruments and devices and ICT, and he/she has basic orientation in scientific and popular-science literature and e-sources. He/she is also oriented in general topics of pedagogy, psychology and special pedagogy. A graduate can be employed especially in education, in civil service, environmental and nature protection-oriented NGOs, environmental stations, children and youths-oriented clubs and all other positions where communication, educational and scientific skills are needed.

In a three-year bachelor's degree programme Czech language with a focus on education we educate bohemists with knowledge of contemporary Czech, its system and use in communication, and with the necessary knowledge of its historical development. The courses are chosen and conceived so that the graduate becomes an expert in the field of contemporary Czech language and and at the same time is able to put the issue of contemporary language into the context of historical development. In the language part of the study the graduate will be equipped with a safe knowledge of all areas of grammar, phonetics and phonology, lexicology and stylistics of the Czech language. He/she will be well versed in the historical development of Czech. He/she will acquire basic knowledge of the basics of linguistics. In the literary part of the study the graduate will be equipped with knowledge of basic subdisciplines of literary science, will be familiar with the theory of literature, but also with the historical development of literature and cultural context. Last but not least, the graduate from the literary part of the study will be equipped with the ability to interpret texts of the literature of art. Particular emphasis is placed on a creative approach to the interpretation of literary texts and the cultivation of the ability to communicate about literature with wide general public. The basic subject, on which all other teaching is based, is the theory of literature. The history of literature emphasizes the literature of the 20th and 21st century. The program also includes a seminar of world literature. The study plan also includes a seminar on didactics of literature focused on the development of reading. The graduate will be equipped with communication skills that can be applied wherever cultural, cultivated and functionally adequate standard language expression is expected, in both spoken and written form, and wherever the skill of a versatile evaluation of linguistic expression or the evaluation of artistic literature is expected. He/she will have excellent prerequisites for further bohemistic and literary material work, eg. at the excerptive level. There will be widespread possibilities of its application in the humanities, in particular verb fields, in culture, in the state administration, in areas where communication with the public is necessary, in press departments or media (publishing editor, editor), in the field of education (as educator or lecturer). They will also be very useful in all areas where developed social and communication skills are expected (instructors in leisure facilities, etc.). Thanks to his/her linguistic and literary education he/she will be able to participate in less expert positions in linguistic or literary institutions.
