      Conditions for admission:

      - admitted are applicants who have the same points as on the 1. - 105. place for General Medicine study program
      - admitted are applicants who have the same points as on the 1. - 25. place for Dentistry study program

      Applicants who score the same number of points as the last admitted applicant, will receive the same resolution of admission.

      The entrance examination for study programs General Medicine and Dentistry is held on the same day.

      Method: one-round entrance exam

      Content: a written test on biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics (a multiple-choice test) and an oral interview.

      Evaluation:

      tests (biology - 25 points, chemistry - 25 points, physics or mathematics - 10 points) = 60 points
      Point Evaluation: correct answer + 1 point
      no answer 0 points
      incorrect answer 0 points

      oral interview = 40 points

      Interview: 2 parts, in each maximum 20 points;
      1. part – understanding and an analysis of the provided scinetific-medical information, interpretation, decision making;
      2. part – personal profile including ethical and moral aspects, communication skills, teamwork and collaboration skills

      In case of adverse epidemical situation the entrance exams will take place in online form. Applicant will be informed about the form of exams in the exam invitation letter, which they will receive no later than 30 days prior to the exam itself.

      Admission procedure for General Medicine/Dentistry in English can be completed physically in designated locations through partner organizations which are listed on our website, including all instructions for applicants. The second possibility is though online testing organized by www.scio.cz, s.r.o. The faculty, as the customer of the service, supplies sets of questions from individual examination subjects. Scio is fully responsible for the execution of the admission procedure itself, in the sense of: securing the testing environment, technical support during testing, supervision of the course of testing, evaluation of testing results. Scio forwards to the Faculty the results of the testing of individual applicants, including a report and a record that documents, among other things, any violation of the testing rules, the result of which may lead to non-recognition of the admissions process. The results of the online testing are communicated to individual applicants by the Faculty itself.

      Admission to Master's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate. Admission to Post-Bachelor studies (Master's programme) is likewise conditioned by completed education in any type of study programme.

      The graduate of dentistry is able to provide proper clinical dental care according to the principles of “evidence-based medicine” through the use of their extensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The graduate cooperates adequately with other healthcare professionals in dentistry and general medicine. The graduate agrees with the necessity of the continuation of self-education and professional development.
