The programme is implemented with these specializations:

Bryology and lichenology

Vascular plants
Specialization is chosen by students when registering for the first year of their studies.

The single-round exam in form of an oral interview from Botany.

The exam is aimed at testing applicant’s general knowledge of the field. The exam includes a discussion about the topic of the applicant’s bachelor thesis and a discussion about a topic for a master thesis.

Examination is assessed with a maximum of 100 points.

During the admissions examination, the applicant will present a transcript of the courses completed during previous study.

The admissions examination is held in English.

Admission to Master's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate. Admission to Post-Bachelor studies (Master's programme) is likewise conditioned by completed education in any type of study programme.
