Branch programme/details

The study programmme is designed for graduates in bachelor degree programmes Coach or Fitness Coach primarily. Actual trends in the are of organisation and planning of performance coaching are introduced to the students. The content of ste study is build on current level of knowledge in wide area of applied sport sciences (eg. physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, performance diagnostics and psychology). Improtant part of the content is methodology of research in various sports. Students develop their "softskills" during the study. The graduates will find the employment in the area of performance coaching or in the applied research in sport science.

Přijímací řízení musí absolvovat každý uchazeč.

Povinnou přílohou přihlášky je motivační dopis v anglickém jazyce, kde se uchazeč stručně představí, sdělí svůj vztah k zamýšlenému studijnímu programu (např. sportovní, trenérská historie)  a současně nastíní představy o užším zaměření v rámci diplomové práce.

Přijímací zkouška probíhá před komisí formou ústního pohovoru a prověřuje způsobilost studenta ke studiu. Komise hodnotí:

1. Motivační dopis – 0-5 bodů

2. Schopnost odpovídat na dotazy v anglickém jazyce 0-5 bodů

3. Diskuse nad tématem bakalářské práce a diskuse o představách uchazeče o zaměření diplomové práce. V průběhu pohovoru jsou ověřovány základní znalosti z metodiky práce, kritické hodnocení pozitiv a nedostatků v designu práce či metodickém postupu – 0-10 bodů

4. Ověření základních znalostí z oborů sportovních věd (sportovní trénink, fyziologie zátěže, biomechanika sportu, výživa, psychologie sportu, a dalších) a to ve vztahu k zamýšlenému tématu diplomové práce – 0-10 bodů

Bodový zisk z jednotlivých položek přijímací zkoušky je počítán jako aritmetický průměr hodnocení jednotlivých členů komise, zaokrouhlený na desetiny.

Pokud uchazeč získá méně než jeden bod z kterékoliv části ústní  přijímací zkoušky, v přijímací zkoušce neuspěl.

Celkově je možné získat 0 – 30 bodů

Admission to Master's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate. Admission to Post-Bachelor studies (Master's programme) is likewise conditioned by completed education in any type of study programme.

The graduate of study programme Applied Sport Sciences is fully qualified expert in the field of sport sciences. He/she received complex of knowledge and skills of general and specific character in the current level of knowledge in sport sciences. The graduate is qualified to apply gained knowledge to the field of planning, organization and evaluation of sport training and movement programmes. The graduate knows diagnostic methods, understands basic prionciples in both qualitative and also quantitave research. The graduate is also able to present and explain results of research.
