The goal of bachelor degree in Mathematics aimed at education is to ensure that students acquire wide general education in mathematics within a wider context of university education including basics of pedagogy and psychology, to develop students’ mathematical culture and to prepare them for practical applications of acquired knowledge in their future jobs, mainly within out-of-school education of children, youth and adults and in public administration when handling data. The bachelor degree in Mathematics aimed at education has been prepared in such a way that the expected priority of its graduates is to continue in master studies to become lower and upper secondary mathematics teachers. With regard to the structure of a single-subject study, the graduates are also prepared to continue in master studies in other fields such as economy or financial mathematics.The concept of the study programme is built on the assumption that part of B.A. graduates will start their professional career and find a job and the other part will continue in a follow-up master’s degree in the programme Health Education for lower and higher secondary school educators. The study plan includes subjects that allow the first group to use gained knowledge and skills as childcare educators or leisure time teachers. The study plan also includes subjects that serve as the base for the second group in the follow-up master’s programme. During the bachelor study team building skills are developed. Special professional personal traits are developed in students through the study contents and work methodology, the stress is put on the ability of self-regulation, healthy self-esteem, self-understanding, empathy and tactics. An essential part of the study programme is a practice. In form of guided observations students are introduced into real conditions of the professions that they are trained for in the bachelor’s and master’s programmes. As part of the practice students visit various types of schools and educational institutions or leisure time activity institutions. Students become familiar with smooth running of these institutions which are, in an interdisciplinary approach, responsible for the implementation of health support system in the Czech Republic. Students learn to analyse and evaluate internal and external factors which influence functioning of the institutions mentioned above. An important part of the concept of the bachelor programme study is a focus on students´ active involvement in individual and team work.

Přijímací zkouška má dvě části:

1. Zkouška z 1. studijního programu, plán maior, max. 40 b.

2. Zkouška z 2. studijního programu, plán minor, max. 40 b.

Celkem max. 80 b.

Matematika se zaměřením na vzdělávání 

Uchazeč má v písemném testu projevit znalosti a dovednosti z matematiky odpovídající úrovni gymnázia. Test obsahuje 20 úloh, z nichž každá je hodnocena dvěma body. Minimální počet bodů pro úspěšné složení písemného testu je 10 bodů. Pokud uchazeč této hranice nedosáhne, je jeho výsledek stanoven na 0 bodů. U přijímacích zkoušek není dovoleno používat žádné technické prostředky (jako kalkulačky nebo mobilní telefony) ani písemné materiály (včetně tabulek).

Délka trvání testu je 60 minut.

Přijímací zkouška z matematiky je stejná u programu s plány maior/minor i plného studijního plánu. Pokud se uchazeč přihlásí na maior/minor i plný studijní plán, koná přijímací zkoušku jen jednou.

Výchova ke zdraví se zaměřením na vzdělávání

Přijímací zkouška je písemná (max 40.b.). Formou testu jsou ověřovány znalosti z oblasti biologie člověka a psychologie v rozsahu a na úrovni gymnaziálního učiva. Předpokládá se rovněž základní orientace uchazeče v poznatcích souvisejících s ochranou zdraví a významem podpory zdraví pro člověka a lidskou společnost.

Admission to Bachelor's studies is conditioned by completed secondary education confirmed by a school-leaving certificate.

Matematika se zaměřením na vzdělávání 

Uchazeč může požádat děkana fakulty o upuštění od přijímací zkoušky z programu Matematika se zaměřením na vzdělávání. Ve druhém programu, do kterého se uchazeč hlásí, musí zkoušku vykonat, není-li od ní upuštěno.

Žádost se podává písemně v listinné formě nejpozději do 28. 2. 2022. Součástí žádosti je potvrzení, že uchazeč byl účastníkem krajského kola matematické olympiády kategorie A nebo úspěšným řešitelem krajského kola kategorie B nebo C nebo získal v soutěži Matematický klokan aspoň 80 bodů v kategoriích Junior nebo Student nebo potvrzení, že absolvoval Národní srovnávací zkoušky SCIO z matematiky a umístil se mezi 40 % nejlepšími, nebo potvrzení, že uspěl ve společné části maturitní zkoušky z matematiky a umístil se mezi 40 % nejlepšími, nebo potvrzení, že uspěl v didaktickém testu nepovinné zkoušky profilové části maturitní zkoušky Matematika+ nebo Matematika rozšiřující.

V případě, že bude podmínka pro upuštění od přijímací zkoušky splněna až po výše uvedeném termínu podání žádosti, je možno příslušný certifikát podat nejpozději do 31. 5. 2022. Samotnou žádost je však i v tomto případě nutno podat do 28. 2. 2022. Pokud děkan žádosti vyhoví, obdrží uchazeč rozhodnutí o upuštění od přijímací zkoušky a započte se mu maximální počet bodů uvedený v kritériích hodnocení daného programu. Pokud nebude žádosti o upuštění od přijímací zkoušky vyhověno, obdrží uchazeč taktéž rozhodnutí a platí pro něj termín přijímací zkoušky uvedený v pozvánce. Pokud uchazeč nedoloží požadovaný certifikát do 31. 5. 2022, dostaví se v den konání přijímací zkoušky a přijímací zkoušku vykoná.

The graduate is able to apply theoretical knowledge in solving mathematical problems and practical problems, solvable by mathematical tools, including informational technology. He/she is equipped with skills which can be applied in the elaboration of data, writing a mathematical text, etc. He/she is prepared to work with children, youth and adults in extra-curricular activities, mainly aimed at mathematics, including the preparation and organisation of events connected to mathematics (such as competitions and after-school clubs). Thanks to the knowledge of mathematics, he/she is able to adapt to the changing work conditions mainly in the area of handling data and to an extent, in informational technologies. He/she is prepared to develop his/her knowledge and practical skills in courses of further education. The graduate can do qualified jobs at bureaus and institutions in private and state sectors, e.g., the employment office, social security bureaus, charities and civil societies oriented at after-school activities, clubs for children, youth and adults and active spending of free time. The graduate has enough knowledge of and experience with the e-learning form of study, he/she is able to use it for his/her own further education and to prepare support materials for it. The graduate has sufficient pre-requisites to continue with his/her education at the master's level, in the programme of teaching mathematics at the lower and upper secondary school.Graduates of the bachelor’s study programme Health Education gain skills and knowledge of both general and specific professional nature. Mainly, they are able to apply knowledge in the field of human health in its bio-psycho-spiritual areas in real situations: to design, apply and evaluate leisure time care and education, to participate in school education of children and youth under the guidance of a teacher participate in, and to apply appropriate forms of communication when in contact with children and adults. In their professional life they are be able to apply and promote principles of healthy lifestyle, health assistance and support, the prevention of risk behaviour. They can apply gained education when designing and applying health support programmes at schools and outside the school environment. They are be able to apply gained general university education in the lifelong cultivation of their own personality and pedagogical work with various types of clients.
