      The study program is realized within the framework of the kinanthropology field of science. Kinanthropology is a multidisciplinary field of science that deals with the complex effects of voluntary and spontaneous physical activity on human personality development in the bio-psycho-social context and conditions of physical education and sports, physiotherapy, physical health education including their effective management.

      The aim of doctoral studies in kinanthropology is the scientific preparation of experts to ensure their ability in regards both to independent research, scientific and pedagogical activities, and practical applications of acquired knowledge and skills by the needs of the practice. This interdisciplinary study program requires the variability of approach to task solving, reflecting the entire thematic spread of this scientific discipline. A system approach is accentuated during study with an emphasis on the specificity of kinanthropology, both in terms of methodology and content. Doctoral studies in kinanthropology are highly individualized, based on the type of the dissertation thesis project and on the field of undergraduate studies. The preparation program is selected to develop the student’s theoretical and methodological readiness concerning his/her dissertation specialization with the aim of systematic scientific activity in the chosen research problem.

      The admission exam takes place in front of the committee in the form of an oral interview, and it examines the student's competence for scientific work in the field. The committee assesses:

      1. The quality of the dissertation project - the project must have the following structure:

      introduction, literary research, aim/s of the work, and based on the type and thematic focus of the project also hypothesis determination and methodology.

      The maximum score for the entire item – 22 points.

       2. Relation of the topic to the research focus of the workplace and especially to the expertise of the potential advisor and his/her research projects - there must be a transparent consistency of the proposed topic and the research focus of the workplace and the supervisor (the candidate refers to a specific item or even directly particular position of the current or forthcoming research project, contacts the potential supervisor in advance and consult the planned dissertation project with them, the project builds explicitly upon previous research activities of the workplace).

      The maximum score for the entire item – 12 points.

      3.  Previous professional activities in the field of biomechanics - evaluated are past actions related to the project, preferably publishing activities - impact journal - 16 points, SCOPUS - 10 points, ERIH - 6 points, peer-reviewed journal and live presentation at a student scientific conference or another scientific conference - 4 points.

      The candidates will receive the full number of points if they are the first author; if they are the second co-author then, they will receive 75%; if they are the third co-author, they will receive 50% for the respective item, and as the fourth co-author or more, they will receive 25%.

      The maximum score for the entire item – 16 points.

      4. The quality of project presentation and response to questions from the committee members.

      The maximum score for the entire item – 10 points.

      Each member of the committee evaluates Paragraph 1 by a point assessment in the range of 0-20, Paragraph 2 in the range of 0-20 points, Paragraph 3 in the range of 0-10 points, Paragraph 4 in the range of 0-10 points. Therefore, the maximum number of points from one assessor is 60. The arithmetic mean is calculated from the scores assigned by the individual committee members. Rounding will be implemented to the nearest integer - for the values 0.0-0.49 down and the values 0.50-0.99 up. The final score will determine the order of the candidates. The minimum acceptance threshold is 30 points.

      Graduates of doctoral studies of kinanthropology as an interdisciplinary field can find their application mainly in the sphere of science and research, in education and the area of sports, in physiotherapeutic workplaces, and accredited laboratories. Another critical area of application is the sphere of state administration and the business sphere.
