      přijímací zkouška: jednokolová, ústní

      obsah, předmět přijímací zkoušky:
      1. odborná rozprava nad předloženým projektem disertační práce: 0–30 bodů;
      2. posouzení dosavadní odborné činnosti uchazeče: 0–15 bodů;
      3. prokázání znalostí ze studia odborné literatury: 0–15 bodů.

      Zvolené téma uchazeč předem konzultuje s předsedou příslušné oborové rady. Předsedou oborové rady je prof. PhDr. Josef Opatrný, CSc. kontakt: josef.opatrny@ff.cuni.cz.

      Přijat ke studiu může být uchazeč, který u přijímací zkoušky dosáhl minimálně 30 bodů a zároveň se podle počtu dosažených bodů umístil v pořadí odpovídajícím předem stanovenému předpokládanému počtu přijímaných pro konkrétní studijní program či obor (viz požadavky ke studiu jednotlivých programů a oborů), přičemž tuto podmínku splní i všichni ti uchazeči, kteří dosáhnou stejného počtu bodů jako uchazeč, který se umístil na posledním místě v pořadí určeném k přijetí. Předpokládaný počet přijímaných je stanoven zvlášť pro prezenční a zvlášť pro kombinovanou formu studia. Přijat ke studiu může být jen ten uchazeč, který nejpozději při zápisu do studia předloží doklad o svém předchozím vzdělání (viz PPŘ, 5.4).

      Graduates possess a general knowledge of the problems of Latin America in relation to its historical development and characteristic culture that has evolved since the late 16th century, on the basis of pre-Colombian communities and immigration from colonial metropolises and Africa. Graduates have a knowledge of the basic facts of Latin American history, and the ability to learn new facts, being helped by the knowledge of the theory and methodology of the discipline. Graduates are familiar with the development of opinions on the basic problems of the region’s history, and the discipline’s institutions, personalities, periodicals and key works. They have developed language skills in Spanish and English enabling them to study specialized literature and engage in discussions within the international scientific community.
