      The entrance exam is one round and the interview will deal mainly with the dissertation plan and candidate’s knowledge in the given field of study.

      The applicant must demonstrate scientific expertise and capability of independent scientific work.

      The examination is graded with a maximum of 100 points. The evaluation includes the quality of the dissertation project, its feasibility and the way of presentation. • Additionally, their ability to communicate in the English language (or in Czech language in case of Czech doctoral study programme) is likewise assessed.

      In order to be admitted to full-time study form, the applicant must obtain the minimum number of points required for passing the entrance examination as well as the minimum number of points required for admission. The minimum number of points required for admission to the specific study programmes will be determined by the dean based on the results of the entrance examination, with the predicted number of accepted applicants and the financial and organisational possibilities of the faculty being taken into consideration.

      The minimum number of points required for passing the entrance examination for full-time as well as part-time study form is set to 50 points.

      The graduates become experts in broad theoretical and practical background of biological anthropology, human genetics, and biomedicine. The are oriented in field specific techniques and are able to applied their competence in theoretical and applied applications. The graduates are also trained in advanced applied and experimental techniques oriented on biological anthropology and related fields. The graduates are prepared to be employed in bread spectrum of academic and pedagogic institutions or in institution of public administrations.
