Framework Content of the Entrance Examination
Oral exam in fields of Physics, Mathematics applied in Medicine and Pharmacy focusing on the previous study, theses, and expectations for the future doctoral study.
Presentation of the proposed doctoral project.
Part of the exam is conducted in the English language to assess the knowledge (at least C1 level is required).
Conditions of Admission
A necessary but not sufficient requirement for acceptance to the doctoral study program is a completed master's degree.
Criteria for the Evaluation Exams
1. Level of expertise – assessment based on answers to the questions from the range of topics listed in the Framework content of the entrance exam (max. 10 points).
2. Submitted doctoral research project – the project's complexity, modern methodological approaches for solutions and the continuity of the project with topics already addressed in the doctoral program and the financial coverage of the project are evaluated (max. 10 points).
The minimum admission limit is 20 points out of 30.
The Dean decides to accept the applicant(s) who have fulfilled the conditions of the admission procedure and, according to the number of points achieved, ranked in the order corresponding to the predetermined number of accepted applicants for the particular program.
Additional Conditions for Bonus Points (e.g. Practice)
• Completed master's degree program focused on medicine, pharmacy, bioinformatics, bioengineering or a natural science field related to doctoral program in Applied physics and mathematics in medicine and pharmacy (rated 2 points).
• Practice in a fields related to the doctoral program of Applied physics and mathematics in medicine and pharmacy (rated 3 points).
• Indication of the supposed training center and the approval of a specific supervisor with the management of the planned doctoral project (rated max. 5 points).
