Successful completion of postgraduate fellowship/study in Anatomy, Histology and Embryology enables work in this fields, and also enables participation in clinical practice, for example in the research of cardiovascular system, apparatus of locomotion or peritoneal membrane. Structural and biochemical analysis of extremity bones will be used for example for evaluation of bone fractures (in the cooperation with the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Faculty Hospital in Pilsen). Scientific experiences/erudition of postgraduate students will enable them successful involvement in research planning and also in international research projects (for example the study of histology changes in abdominal aorta aneurysm specimens). Among specific features of this study programme belongs macro- and microanatomy including new methods (stereology methods - quantitative histology; immunohistochemistry and others).
