This follow-up seminar introduces the key theories and concepts of contemporary migration studies, their critical reflection and the gender sensitive interpretation of data, focusing especially on the problems of women migration strategies and the impact of migration and migration policy on gender roles, family and household. Students are expected to participate also in the follow-up seminar.
