The task of the course is to acquaint students with oral historical research when studying contemporary history or explore the limits and possibilities of oral history in researching different groups and strata of society. Since oral history is a source created through the unique cooperation of the interviewer and the narrator, the subject will be focused on both protagonists and their "roles" in the interview process. The core of oral history is the analysis and interpretation of acquired experience in the context of historical events. Oral history is mainly used when learning about cultural and social history, the history of everyday life, gender, or different ethnic groups.
