A compulsory examination is passed from English, French or German language. The aim is to verify active and
passive language skills and the ability to use chosen language and to assess the candidate's proficiency in their
first foreign language. The liberal character of the examination enables the candidate to flexibly choose from a
variety of forms. It typically consists of translating a longer academic text, grammatical and lexical tests, a written
analysis of a shorter text and a discussion on a given topic.
