The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge of biblical exegesis with the help of selected texts from the Old
Testament. These texts are firstly carefully read and discussed and then analysed using various selected methods
(historical criticism, reader-response criticism, social-historical analysis, canonical approach, structural analysis
etc.) in order to expose the variety of meanings they can present.
