The subject is primarily focused on students who intend to write their final thesis at the Department of Gymnastics and Combat Sports. The subject focuses on training scientific research skills. Within the course, the study group collects simple data and subsequently analyzes the data. The skills and information acquired by students will be used when writing their own final thesis.

  • The student actively participates in scientific research activities.
  • The student can describe and justify the individual steps of solving a research problem in their own words.
  • The student can apply the demonstrated approach (in a theoretical context) to other real research problems related to coaching.
  • The student is familiar with relevant literature that is relevant to the goals of their final thesis.
  • The student critically assesses available literature sources.
  • The student can create a high-quality and formally valuable written document - the final thesis project.
