The subject of self-defense provides students with insight into the issues related to resolving physical conflicts. Key topics include essential aspects of prevention, pre-conflict communication, techniques that increase the likelihood of successful self-defense, and ongoing tactical principles. The practical content of the subject is framed within the legal aspects according to the Criminal Code of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the subject is primarily conducted through contact exercises in pairs.

  • The student can explain the principles of self-defense in accordance with legal aspects.
  • The student can describe the parameters of an imminent threat.
  • The student can list several possible solutions to a physical conflict depending on the situation.
  • The student can demonstrate basic self-defense striking techniques.
  • The student can demonstrate basic techniques for defense against holds while in a stance.

  • To successfully complete the course, it is necessary not to exceed 2 absences.
  • The practical credit is based on the demonstration of selected self-defense techniques that are practiced during the lessons.

2) Rozlišit jemnou a tvrdou variantu při úchopu (obtěžování)
3) Obrana proti
- úchopům,
- facce / obloukovému úderu,
- rdoušení zepředu a zezadu,

  • Circumstances excluding unlawfulness according to the Criminal Code.
  • Technical, tactical, and psychological principles of self-defense.
  • Basic self-defense techniques - kicks, strikes, blocks, defense against holds.
  • Basic self-defense techniques - defense against strangulation and choking.
  • Solving model situations.
