This course is designed for students with a deeper interest in canoeing. The course consists of two parts: 1) There are 5 lessons on Eskimo rolls in WS or at the beginning of SS. The student is required to attend at least 3 of the 5 lessons (90 minutes each). Dates for 2024: 23. 2., 8. 3., 22. 3., 5. 4. and 12. 4. 2024 2) The second part takes place in the SS in the form of a 4-day course (UK FTVS boathouse, artificial slalom course Troja): mainly technical skills on K1 and rafts are developed, students are also introduced to paddleboarding. Dates for course in Troja is 1. - 4. 7. 2024

The aim of the course is to improve the technical-tactical skills of riding on more advanced boats designed for recreational and competitive forms of canoeing. The teaching is thus practically oriented especially on kayaks and rafts. Marginally, students will also get acquainted with paddleboarding.

The course includes the following practically oriented lectures:

1. Technique and methodology of teaching Eskimo rolls.

2. Technique and tactics of K1 riding.

4. Technique and tactics of K1 riding on wild water.

5. Technique and tactics of riding R2 and R6 (wild water).

6. Paddleboarding.

The following exercises follow the lectures:

1. K1 riding on calm water. 0.5 day 

2. Riding K1 on wild water (WW I.) 1 day 

3. K1 ride on wild water (WW II.) 1 day

4. K1 wild water ride (WW II - WW III). 0.5 day

5. Ride on R6 rafts. 0.5 day

6. Riding R2 rafts. 0.5 day

7. Paddleboarding. 0.5 days

8. Kayaking (WW III). 0.5 days
