Students get acquainted with the history and development of Czech and world softball / baseball, rules, basics of theory and didactics of softball / baseball. They gain information about the importance and development of motor skills, training in basic methods of throwing / hitting and game activities of the individual.

Lectures

1. Information on the conditions of admission to the specialization + acquaintance with the content of teaching.

History and organization of softball / baseball in the world and in our country (including competitions).

2. Origin and development of rules, record keeping, activities of the referee.

3. Characteristics and systematics of softball / baseball, including basic concepts.

4. Basics of softball / baseball training theory.

5. Training in softball / baseball.

6. Basics of fitness training in softball / baseball (development of motor skills).

7. Characteristics, analysis and practice of HČJ - one-handed throw in the upper arch (inner polar, outer polar).

8. Characteristics, analysis and training of HČJ - driving, blocking targets, two-car.

9. Characteristics, analysis and training of HČJ - polarer's skill skills.

10. Characteristics, analysis and practice of HČJ - polar skills of the quarterback.

11. Characteristics, analysis and practice of HČJ - shots, grips, tides.

12. Characteristics, analysis and practice of HČJ - running after goals.

13-14. Recapitulation of the studied curriculum.

Exercises:

1. Assessment of the entry level of performance in the match.

2. Warm-up in softball / baseball (meaning, examples of individual types).

3. Development of motor skills in softball / baseball (speed - coordination).

4. Development of motor skills in softball / baseball (speed - strength, speed -

endurance).

5. Preparatory games - their types and use in softball / baseball.

6. Training of basic methods of throwing the upper arch.

7. Training of basic ways of throwing the lower arch.

8. One-handed throw training with the upper arch (inner polar, outer polar).

9. Training of driving (touch, stepping), blocking targets, two-car.

10. Training of pitcher's polar skills.

11. Training of the butler's polar skills (goal blocking, pass ball, theft, pick-off).

12. Training of shots, grips (self-sacrifice, offensive), tidal.

13. Training of running after the goal (multi-run runs, runs from the goals, returns to the goal).

14. Testing students from basic practical coaching skills
