The course builds on psychology and pedagogy. Defines and systematizes the role of applied didactics in the field sports training. The process of developing knowledge and competencies in coaching students is focused on understanding and creation of suitable methodological and organizational forms in conducting sports training and additional sports activities. Provides students with an overview of the demands on the work of a coach, the activities of athletes in projects, organizational forms, differentiation in sports training, physical activity of children and youth.

Coaching students acquire competencies to understand and diagnose a specific pedagogical situation, to create appropriate methodological and organizational forms in conducting sports training and additional sports activities, and to differentiate in the sports training of children and youth.

1.Didactics and didactics of sport. Anchoring in the system of sciences. (theoretical background, basic concepts).

2. The concept of didactics of sports training, methods of empirical and theoretical research in didactics.

Information sources in the field of didactics of sports training and work with them.

3. Sports education; motor learning and acquisition of motor skills.

4. - 5. Athlete as a subject and object in sports training (learning styles, differences in perception of reality, information processing, fundamental differentiation in creating didactic projects and situations)

6. Coach: knowledge, skills, competencies, personality of the coach and their development. Development of interpersonal perception. Social reception in effective interaction: coach - athlete. Interpretation of behavior and actions of athletes in psychosocial and didactic context.

7. Didactic principles, methods, methodical-organizational forms (preparatory exercises, game exercises, preparatory games)

8. Didactic forms of social-interaction and organizational forms, procedures.

9. Specifics of training of children and youth from a didactic point of view. The spectrum of didactic styles.

10. Diagnostic techniques and tools. Procedures for creating a didactic system of curriculum and methodological and organizational forms in sports training. Reflection and evaluation of the coach's work

An LMS - moodle called Didactics of PE is established (students will receive a password for logging in at the beginning of the semester from the teacher)
