The subject is focused on the area of specialized and elite swimming training. During the semester, the student will become familiar with the principles of planning swimming training, with the practical use of the application for planning the annual training plan. They will also become familiar with the specifics of the development of specific and non-specific muscle strength on land and in water, with training methods that focus on the development of the performance of sprinters, middle distance swimmers and endurance athletes, with the psychological work of a coach, and as part of the internship we will focus on the work of coaches with many years of experience and the highest qualification achieved.

The aim of the subject is to acquire skills in training planning, preparation of training units within the entire annual plan with practical use of swimming methods both for a group of swimmers and for individuals in the case of individualized training.

By completing the subject, the student will acquire knowledge and skills associated with planned training in the Yarmill application. The student will be able to plan annual and multi-year swimming training with all volume indicators for the development of movement skills in individual training stages. He knows what the basic swimming methods are for and how we work with them. They will learn to use these methods in connection with the planning of the annual training cycle.
