We start the long-term process of a swimmer's sports training with the stages of preparatory and basic training. In this semester, students will get to know the training methods and principles that are related to the student categories in sports swimming.

The aim of the course is to characterize the goals and content direction of the preparatory and basic stages of swimming training, to familiarize students with the principles of loading youth in swimming training.

The graduate of the subject can optimally plan, implement and evaluate the training process focused on the age categories of preparatory and basic training. He applies knowledge from the field of youth training, psychological preparation and work with talents to his own preparation of the training process.
