The course focuses on diagnostic techniques, correcting errors and improving the technique of each individual swimming technique. From the part of physical condition the course acquaints students with the basic locomotor training in water (swimming for maintaining and developing fitness swimming, aqua-fitness and health swimming). The course includes short educational outcomes of students.

Active participation in direct instruction

  • 100 m Individual medley presented according to the rules of swimming in the limit (Men: 1:40; Women: 1:53)
  • 400 m crawl technique in the time limit (men: 8 min., Female: 9 min.)
  • 3 times written training plan on selected topics (diagnosis, exercise training in the water, aqua-fitness and health swimming)

Diagnosis of swimming techniques (for improving swimming, locomotor training)

Inventory frequently occurring mistakes, technical exercises for the correction of mistakes

Locomotor training in water - the basic characteristics, benefits for the human organism

Training methods for the positive influence of fitness swimming locomotion, a basic inventory of themes and exercises

Aqua-fitness - an overview and orientation of the various forms of loading in water

Health-oriented programs in the water. Using physical activity programs in the water for people with disabilities. Sports persons with disabilities.
