This course aims to bring the basic information regarding the specifics of sports organizations. Based on describing and then applying concepts such as sport governance, strategic planning, organizational theory, theory of power, and so on, the course encourages students to understand the functioning of a sport organization in a wider context and be able to use the optimal concepts and guidelines when needed.

Completing this course, students are supposed to be able to: 

-       Identify the governance basis of the sport organization 

-       Classify and identify managerial functions and activities as well as competencies 

-       Adhere to the basic standards of strategic planning

-       Orient oneself in the specifics of sports organizations and organizational behavior patterns

-       Classify current principles of sports organization's functioning and recommend concepts that can help with their optimization
